| Comic Relief | 22 March 2011 |
![]() Comic Relief day at Moor Park saw Mr Crew dressed very fetchingly in his summer uniform, chasing the intrepid trio of Gracie, Eleanor and Olivia around the Cross-country course. Gracie had the idea after watching a programme about how the money raised on Red Nose day is used, and with the help of Eleanor and Olivia, they raised over £1000 which is an incredible amount. | |

| Mouse Racing Evening | 10 March 2011 |
| Moor Park held its second mouse racing event on Saturday with the event being more targeted towards families this time. Around 60 parents and over 100 children attended! Rachel Blake who organised the event also arranged a children's 'tote' which was a resounding success, a sweet store and a colouring corner for the younger children. From the feedback received so far and the noise level on the evening it was enjoyed by all. The happy atmosphere helped people part with their cash and the event raised over £1,350 which will go towards the Astroturf project. Many thanks to all the parents who came and contributed towards the evening and the MPPA members and partners who helped on the night. | |

| New kneelers for chapel | 18 June 2009 |
| The chapel is desperately short of kneelers and needs another 60 to provide enough for everyone to be able to pray in comfort! The company who designed the existing kneelers has been approached and is producing 60 more kneeler kits to match those we already have - one design bears a stag's head against a green background, the other carries a representation of the old school building. It is hoped that parents might like to buy and make them up (in cross stitch), and then present them to the school. The kneelers can be personalised to carry a child's initials and the dates they attended the school - they are therefore an ideal way to commemorate a child's years at Moor Park and will be a lasting reminder of that child's presence in the school which will benefit pupils for years to come. Each kit costs £40, and for those who need help in making them up it is hoped to provide a workshop in the autumn, as well as a list of people prepared to make them up for others. Anyone wishing to order a kit please contact the school office | |
